Base rows (starting rows) of a project are often time different than the rest of the weaving process. Patience, practice and experience are good resources while getting past the base rows. There are many stitches/techniques for bead weaving. If you enjoy beads and weaving, trying different techniques keeps things interesting. If you don't like one, then there are many more to tempt you. While learning keep in mind there are many ways to accomplish the same goal. Learn basics, then do what works best for you. Relaxation and enjoyment as well as the finished item are part of the whole experience. |
