Valentine's Day is special to me. I have had the same Valentine for nearly 30 years. This is my largest design in this style of netting. Using size 11 Japanese seed beads this little coaster is about 4 inches across. Three colors create this doily. Large photos with lots of text to get you to a successful result the first time for an intermediate beader.

These are in the style of beading seen in the Stenboden books and the Olaf Beading books from Europe and Australia.

I would not think this a beginner pattern. If you have done my pumpkin, my snowman or my lady bug, then you can make this piece.

This is a netting style I learned in the Olaf books from Australia but the style is from Scandinavia.

Difficulty - Intermediate beaders.
