This necklace is not very difficult to make but I used almost all the different bead weaving stitches in the design. Amongst these are a variation on the St Petersburg stitch, herringbone, netweaving and brick stitch. My instructions are quite clear and should be easy to follow. This is my new favorite necklace! Let me know how many compliments you get on your necklace. Be prepared to answer when someone asks why it is called Indianapolis 499. I named it that because it's much too small to be an Indianapolis 500!

The technique for this necklace was hard to develop. After many hours I did it. Now it will be easy for you to make!

I have a pattern for a matching bracelet. I thought I could make one using the necklace directions but they do not work. There is a totally different arrangement of the connecting beads and the cars are connected on the top and the bottom.
Stitch: New for Cars 
Beads Used: Delicas (size 11), 4mm (smooth or faceted), 2mm or size 11 Czech seed beads 
Approx Finished Size: 20.5" in length
