This pattern set is the result of an online project. It's based on inspirations and colors culled from textiles native to the Andes, where the
author spent many years. There are multiple pattern sections that are strung, added to the previous section, and crocheted into a 70" necklace. Each pattern segment can be used alone, modified, or combined with other segments to build individual ropes. The book contains complete instructions for constructing the necklace on the cover as well as a couple of bracelets.

This is a necklace variation that did not get used in my Urban Stripes project, eBook and patttern set. The Railroad pattern repeats nicely to 42" for a necklace that will double around your neck. Use my gray, silver, red, orange, yellow or change out your colors with BCPD.

After purchase:
1) Save the *.bcp file to your computer, be sure you can locate the file.
**Default BCPD program directory is C:Program FilesBCPD OR create a separate file on your 'data' drive, example; D:BCPD Patterns,
save all your BCPD pattern files in that directory. Periodically backup your data, just in case 'stuff' happens to your computer/files.
2) Start BCPD Program.
3) From the menu choose OPEN DESIGN ELEMENT.
4) Locate the .bcp file (just saved), the file will open in BCPD, ready for use.
5) If you make changes, save your changed file with another name so you
do NOT overwrite your just purchased pattern file.

This is small scale bead embroidery and these are so quick to make that you could have a whole flock of them for a necklace. Add a few flowers and you will have a garden for your neckline.
