Easy Netted Necklace
This easy necklace has many possibilities for variation: Instead of using a strand of beads for the foundation row, try a row of right angle weave or a simple lace stitch. Put tiny drop beads in each net, with or without the larger drop beads. I used this pattern in a basic beading class to teach horizontal netting, and it has been popular among beading students and customers.
Stitch: Horizontal net weave 
Beads Used: 11/0 seed beads, 6-8mm glass beads for drops 
Approx Finished Size: Center netted portion of necklace is 4 1/2 x 1 3/4 in.

This is a good beginner project, as it is quite easy to do. I used flexible beading wire, which gives necessary "body" to the strands. You can vary the bracelet in infinite ways, limited only by your creativity and your beads!
Stitch: Cross-needle weaving 
Beads Used: 12mm heart bead, 5x2mm tube beads, 14/0 seed beads, 2 seed beads w/large holes

I designed this cute little pin for Blueberry Festival in Maine, to celebrate the harvest of the wild blueberries. The red berry IS authentic -- blueberries start out white, go to pinkish and red, before turning blue, when they are ripe! Pattern includes the numbers of the Delica beads I used -- I think the next one I would try with matte beads.

As a transplant to Maine, I find the New England fall colors enchanting, and this pattern is my small attempt to make them last, or at least a reminder. Pattern includes the numbers of the Delica beads I used, but the color possibilities are endless. Hold the graph sideways to make it in brick stitch -- much easier to increase and decrease.
